Important:
Before installation, ensure the power is shut off.
Required Tools (not included): 4.25 inch Hole Saw, Screwdriver, Safety glasses and gloves.
To Install:
1. Turn off the power before installation. Remove the existing fixture if applicable. Determine the location and cut the ceiling hole with a diameter of 4.25 inches.
2. Open the J-Box cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s) on the side panel. Install the appropriate cable clamps and insert the electrical supply cable through the cable clamp. Connect the supply wires to the fixture wires by using 3 connectors. Attach white to white, black to black, copper to the ground wire.
3. Insert J-Box through the mounting hole and secure it following local electrical codes. Select lamp color desired with the CCT switch.
4. Push the three mounting tabs on the mounting bracket in until they are flush with the outer ring. Push the mounting bracket into the ceiling hole until the mounting bracket is flush with the bottom of the ceiling. Push the mounting tabs out fully until they click into place holding the mounting bracket in the ceiling. Insert the three screws into the mounting bracket and then through the drywall and into the mounting tabs. Tighten the screws slowly until the mounting bracket flanges are embedded into the drywall and the mounting bracket is flush with the ceiling. Use a level to ensure the mounting bracket is level with the ceiling.
5. Install the cover into the mounting bracket until it clicks into place. Apply drywall compound and sand to achieve smooth finish.
6. Remove the cover. Connect the power cable to the J-Box. Using the suction cup install the light fixture into the mounting bracket. The fixture is held in place with magnets. Once installed remove the suction cup by pushing the small release tab into the handle. Turn the power on and check that fixture is working.
7. Prime and paint the ceiling to your specifications. Once finished remove the protective film from the light lens.
